WEEBLES Coast to Coast

Mayborn Museum Complex

Pack your bags for a 50-state adventure in the Mayborn Museum's exhibit, WEEBLES Coast to Coast. Visitors will travel, with help from Weebles characters, to each of the 50 states to explore U.S. geography, history and culture. Children can pretend to go fishing in Minnesota, drive along the Pacific Coast Highway in California, join a pit crew in Indianapolis and so much more!

Don’t miss your last chance to explore the USA all in one day! Our WEEBLES Coast to Coast exhibit leaves on Sunday! $5 admission on Saturday, May 3! Admission for the museum and the exhibit will be $5 per person for all guests over 18 months of age on Saturday, May 3. Museum Members and Baylor University students receive free admission.

Public Lecture: The Importance of Strong Collaborative Research Bonds Between Industry and Higher Education

For more than a quarter-century, Farah has served L-3 Communications in a variety of high-level technical and executive capacities. His presentation will include both strategic and practical perspectives on the aerospace industry, which has become an economic mainstay of the Central Texas region. Long an advocate of partnering with technical vocational and higher educational institutions, he has overseen the establishment of collaborative projects that take full advantage of the many resources available from Texas State Technical College, McLennan Community College and Baylor University. Currently, L-3 Communications has 20 aerospace engineers in the BRIC to support ongoing collaborative projects with Baylor researchers.

Mayborn Museum Complex is a place to bring the whole family to explore. Walk across a replica of Waco's famous mammoth site, see a Comanche tipi upclose or spend your day exploring the 16 themed Discovery rooms. Step outside for a visit to the Governor Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village.

The Mayborn Museum Complex is located on the Baylor University campus at 1300 S. University Parks Drive.

General admission to the museum is $6 for adults, $5 for seniors and $4 for children. Museum members are admitted free.

Texas Ranger

Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum is dedicated to the history and lore of the legendary Texas Rangers, the oldest state law enforcement agency in the nation and an enduring symbol of Texas and the American West.

The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Last guest admitted at 4:30 p.m. Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors (60+) or with military ID, $3 for children 6-12 and free for children under 6.
