The Education / Workforce Development Committee provides leadership and advocacy for programs to improve the quality of our region's workforce with particular emphasis on K-12 education, lifelong learning and retaining college graduates.
The efforts align with the Chamber's Breakthrough Initiative to leverage the resources of the region's colleges and universities to support employers who require persons with college and advanced degrees and attract and retain a younger, more qualified and better-educated workforce.
For more information, contact Kenneth Hampton, senior vice president of community development, at (254) 752-6611 ext. 304.
