The Legislative and Governmental Affairs Committee represents local business interests and works to advance community goals with local, state and federal governmental officials.
The committee also helps to organize Waco Day in Austin, which is celebrated every two years when the Texas Legislature convenes. A group of delegates will travel to Austin Feb. 24 when Reps. Charles "Doc" Anderson and Jim Dunnam and Sen. Kip Averitt proclaim Waco Day in the House and Senate Chambers.

The Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce Legislative Committee invites you to join a Waco delegation Feb. 24 for Waco Day in Austin presented by Time Warner Cable. The cost is $60 per person. Please make reservations by Feb. 19.
