 INNOVATiON, The Marketing Team, took home top honors Feb. 24 at the annual Addy Awards, hosted by the Waco Advertising Federation.
Their work on the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce “WACO WE DO” campaign won Best of Show.In total, INNOVATiON won three Gold Addys, three Silver Addys and six Bronze Addys.
They also received a special Judges Award for Best TV for the :60 “WACO WE DO” TV spot, along with the Best of Show for the “WACO WE DO” multimedia campaign created in 2006.

INNOVATiON, the Marketing Team, is a full-service agency that opened for business in November 2000 by Randy Robertson.
With headquarters in Waco and a second office in Temple, the agency has seen spectacular growth over the years and now serves accounts at the local, regional, and national levels. INNOVATiON currently has 11 employees and four interns.
Four months after its release, the “WACO WE DO” campaign, developed in partnership between the Greater Waco Chamber and INNOVATiON, was recognized for its creative ads in print, radio, TV and for the “WE DO” jingle, which was sung by Waco native Wade Bowen and produced at McLennan Community College.
“The WE DO campaign has been a labor of love,” said Dean Riley, creative director and COO at INNOVATiON. “All of us in the Waco community can relate to the many great things we do in this city.”
Other top winners of the night were The Cowley Group with 12 awards, Baylor University with 11, Pollei Designworks with 10, plus Best of Print, Cameron Park Zoo with eight awards, Michael Bracken with a Special Judges Award and WRS Group with a Judges Award for the Most Unique.
Each year, individuals and businesses in the Waco advertising industry submit their work in a local competition with 72 categories.
Winners move on to a regional competition in April covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Winners from the region are forwarded to a national competition at the American Advertising Federation’s national convention in June.
