Texas Secretary of State Hope Andrade is recognizing three long-time local businesses to thank them for their contributions to the Texas economy. Joined by members of the Greater Waco Chamber, Andrade is visiting RAM Aircraft, LP, Central Texas Ironworks and Englander Container and Display.

“I look forward to visiting these businesses as they are fine examples of the many companies in the region that make a positive impact in the lives of their employees, their families, and this community,” said Andrade. 

Andrade also met with leaders of the Chamber to thank them for the role they play in supporting and advocating for Waco’s local businesses. 

“I am grateful for the support my local Chamber provided to me during my 30 years as a San Antonio entrepreneur, and I am so very pleased to see a similar support system here in Waco. The Greater Waco Chamber is a valuable local partner in Texas’ economic development efforts and they play an integral role in business development throughout this community.”

While highlighting the significance of bringing new companies and jobs to Texas, Andrade also addressed the importance of recognizing the many contributions of Texas’ “homegrown” businesses through the years. 

“As the top relocation destination in the U.S. for the past five years, we are always excited to celebrate with new companies interested in beginning operations in Texas. At the same time, we recognize and greatly appreciate the many long-time businesses that have served as the backbone of the Texas economy for so many years.”
